World Destroyer! EU's Geopolitical Disaster

How von der Leyen was duped and how to rescue Europe!

Has Europe lost its vision? or has its leadership lost their collective minds?

Why is the EU involved in a conflict between the two most corrupt nations in Europe? Why is the EU taking sides in this mad dog fight? What geopolitical sense does that make? Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced in 2019 that she was going to lead a ‘geopolitical Commission’. So where is that geopolitical policy headed today?

Who has gained from the present disastrous policy?

• Europe’s economy is in a nose-dive.

• Inflation is rising to unknown levels.

• Stagflation last known in the 1970s and 1980s is here again.

• Food prices are striking the lives of Europe’s poor.

• Sky-rocketing gas and electricity spell a cold autumn and winter.

• Europe is cut off from its major energy supplier.

• For the first time, the EU is at WAR with another European State.

Who gains when Europeans fight and try to knock each other out? Is it realistic to fight to lethally damage Russia? Did Europeans learn nothing from Napoleon and Hitler’s mistakes?

Who gains? The USA? No. It is experiencing similar strains. It is the US Biden administration that has encouraged Europe’s madcap policy. They say openly they want to destroy Russia as a power. Do EU leaders know why?

Who gains when USA, the EU and Russia try to knock each other out and destroy each other’s economy?

If European leaders do not know the answer to that then they have no right to say they have the foggiest idea of geopolitics.

Who gains?

The big winner is Communist China. It is happy to see the West including Russia and Ukraine destroy itself.

Europeans seem to be in a time-warp. For them Russia is still the Soviet Union.

Wake up! Russia is now nationalist. It declares itself like Ukraine to be a Christian State. The great Communist power on earth is China. Moreover it is a powerful economic, industrial power that is intent on world domination.

So we turn to NATO, the Atlantic defense organization set up to counter communism.

What NATO says

I asked a high official in NATO ‘what is your analysis?’

I reminded him that Robert Schuman had a hand in creating both NATO and the European Community.

In 1949 Schuman called for the building of the European House.

In 1950 he proposed the European Coal and Steel Community. These two products are vital: coal was energy as vital as petroleum today and steel is the essential ingredient of weapons of war.

France and Germany would together stop war. Then Schuman surprised everyone. He said that ‘of course’ Russia could also become a Member State.

Hadn’t the West committed the most disastrous strategic, geopolitical blunder, I asked the Nato official. The only party to gain from the conflict is China.

For this official, who said he knew China well, China was a country of traders. They were interested in markets not war. I hope this is not official policy. China knows from centuries of experience that the last way to conquer a country is to go to war with it. There are many other ways to dominate. One is to let other powers fight amongst themselves and exploit the situation. Another is to control the media and sow fear. First try everything other than hot war, including a Wuhan virus. Millions will die worldwide while the total death toll in China is just 5226.

As for corruption in USA where the Biden family had received billions of dollars as the Hunter Biden laptop shows, I was assured by this NATO official that this sort of intelligence is not discussed in NATO.

The way for Russia

The Community was created in the 1950s to ‘make war not only unthinkable but materially impossible.’ For three-quarters of a century Europe has been the Peace-Maker of the world. Peace and prosperity came to the Member States of the Community while the rest of the world suffered in the Cold War and in other conflicts.

Before 1950 every generation for two thousand or more years went to war. Europe, with the capitals of several imperial powers, provoked world wars. Then Europe’s unusual peace facilitated a world at peace. Calm replaced the clash of arms.

Today Brussels seems to have renounced its claim to be the world’s peace-maker. That is is first big mistake. Its so-called European Peace Facility is being used to send weapons to bloodiest conflict in post-war Europe.

The European Commission was set up as the honest broker for Europeans to prevent conflict. Now it is the trumpeter of warfare.

What went wrong?

The second strategic error

The second major error is abandoning the Community method. How would Schuman’s Community idea work out? Expanding the idea Coal and Steel Community to include Russian gas and oil would require that Russia joined the Council of Europe, an institution that guaranteed human rights. Among these are freedom of speech, (to criticise governments) and freedom of religion to denounce and disprove atheism.

When the Soviet Union fell apart, Russia did join the Council of Europe in 1995. It thereby agreed to abide by the Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

All was set.

But the leaders of Community had transformed it into an intergovernmental organisation, called the European Union, replete with secret closed door management. They refused to countenance any Russian involvement, and any Ukrainian involvement too. Thus when Russia wanted closer cooperation and democratic help, the EU politicians were setting up their own Politburo.

Russia and the EU became two ships crossing in the night.

So in March this year Russia left the Council of Europe. It allied itself with China and Iran. That changed world geopolitics.

It divides the world into China and its lapdogs and the West, comprising Europe and N America, a smaller population, intent on destroying its own unity, its wealth and its peace power.

Geopolitics of subtraction

When Ursula von der Leyen announced in 2019 that she was to preside over a ‘geopolitical European Commission’, she said the EU must strive for more.

What is the record?

The mishandling of European dimension has brought:

• Less energy resources for growth;

• High inflation,

• Food shortages,

• War with the EU’s neighbors threatening the Future of Europe as a zone of peace.

Did the ‘geopolitical Commission’ bring more? Instead its ignorance of geopolitics brought everyone less. It has brought nothing but sorrows, strife, deeper debt for generations to come and destruction of its prestige and reputation.

The third strategic error

The change from the European Community system to the EU assumes there are only two geopolitical possibilities: nationalism and internationalism.

Wrong.

The Community is a third choice. It proposes a democratic linkage in key sectors (like Coal and Steel) to be governed by a supranational democracy with five institutions. There are other international systems that are neither national, nor democratic. These are business and financial cartels of the powerful who want to rule the world.

The European Community created the world’s first international anti-cartel system. When its citizens need it most, its dissuasive weapon has been put away in a holster.

Cartels are dangerous. Many cartels lead to war. All cheat the citizens of their wealth. The Community system guaranteed that no cartel or no European country would blackmail others with nuclear weapons. How? The European Atomic Energy Community, Euratom, made such a dangerous threat impossible.

If the Community system could render atomic warfare impossible between Member States, it is far easier to create a European Energy and Security Community with Russia and Ukraine that would allow all States to benefit.

Have Europe’s leaders remembered the lessons of history? Have they comprehended the dangers of ignoring their geopolitical duties? Will they begin to see the monster they have created?
