What's EU reaction to armed Police Entry to my House and Theft of Computers?
God willing, I will attend Commission Midday Press Conference Today
Police still have my computers and diary after armed entry into my house in my absence, without warning or justification.
I still have not had any explanation or excuse from the Police for this outrageous action. They have not contacted me. They have not provided a list of my personal and professional property they took on Tuesday 24 June.
I returned from a trip to find a burglary had taken place in my house. I phoned the local police. Two inspectors came and gave me a form to fill out of missing property. Then they found out that the 6 or 7 armed men that had broken into my house were policemen! They carted off bags of paper and three computers plus mobile phones and other still unknown property.
This is an outrage to the rule of law and Robert Schuman achievements in establishing both the European Community and the Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Council of Europe, about which I have written many articles and books.
This outrage occurred next to EU Commission buildings in the Schuman European Quarter.
