I am not the World's Master Money Launderer. But the World may be calling Belgian Police the Clouseau Clowns of Finance
I am no money launderer. Even my washing machine is out of action!
Think, investigate, analyze before you place citizens in harm and destroy their honest lives! Belgian’s Clouseau police act like an out-of-control State within a State. They ignore their duty to show warrants or laywer’s requests. Such imbecilic action harms not only me but can harm others and damage democratic structures of society. Raiding journalists is a warning sign of lawlessness. It can reduce Belgium’s standing internationally as a law-abiding governance.
Which journalist, which citizen is next for this treatment?
An armed gang invaded my house in my absence. This clan of six or seven gangsters took computers and other property. The local policewoman, Laurence, who was passing, saw it all. She informed me the next day that I should contact the Money Laundering Unit of the Police to find out what happened.
I wrote them asking eight questions. I have not received a reply. Why? Possibly because they are desperately looking there to find justification for their outrageous and pointless acts. They might find an unpaid parking ticket in my computer that will justify THEIR break-and-entry and theft. They are looking in vain.
It is also a sign of a decadent society that police try to justify POLICE actions that seem to all other citizens to 100 PERCENT ILLEGAL.
No due process of Law
In a normal civilized society the police do not raid a home without showing a legal warrant and identity badges. Nothing like that happened.
No one came to me. Nor have they up till now — a week later. What sort of police rule is that?
They do what they want.
They do not even say who they are.
They do not present a mandate or warrant or any documents.
They take my work tools and private records and papers.
They leave no notice. Secret police in every sense.
They leave no trace of what they took or where they have put my precious computers and papers.
They came, they burglarized, they left without a trace. They left no notice on the door or elswhere that missing property had been taken legally. They left no telephone number to ring.
A PRIME EXAMPLE OF POWER WITHOUT REPONSABILITY. They did not check my record of citizenship with the commune or others. They did not check my bank account balance of 130 euros before raiding my house. They did not investigate any links with gangs — because there are none.
They acted without knowledge, without due analysis and investigation. They acted impetuously and ruined the work schedule of an honest journalist who has been in the country since the 1980s. They acted WITHOUT REFLECTON OR DUE PROCESS.
What sort of intelligence is that? Police intelligence or Hollywood-excited imagination?
Forced Entry
Police acted like burglars. Secret police! They still keep their secrets of incompetence from the public. When I returned from a trip, after I had turned the key in the door, I noticed that the internal door to the kitchen was wide open. Then missing property.
I reported a burglary to the local police. Two officers came. They said later that they were not going to submit a report because the burglary was perpetrated by another police unit.
Clouseau Clowns
Let’s call it the Clouseau Clown Computer Collection Clan.
They have not contacted me. Instead the local police asked me to fill out a form of missing property! But I do not know what they took! And they are not talking to me nor giving back my property, nor explaining why they did this deed.
They refuse to supply warrant information as required by law! This unit of police wilfully ignores all customary, legal practice designed to protect the citizen from TYRANTS in or out of uniform.
Why didn’t they take my washing machine? For puny brained, non-thinking burglars it is the nearest thing they will find in my house and in my computers that has anything close to do with laundering.
Where does a citizen get any justice in the Kingdom of Belgium?
